Nootpedia is an educational research wiki. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or a recommendation that you take, stop, or combine any compound. The authors are not your physician. By using Nootpedia, you acknowledge that you are 18 years of age or older and that you are solely responsible for any decisions you make about your own body.
Welcome. These terms cover what Nootpedia is, what it isn't, and the rules for using it. We've tried to write them like a human, not a contract template. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please stop using the site.
1. Educational purpose
Nootpedia catalogues pharmacological research, mechanism notes, dose ranges seen in literature, side-effect profiles, and editorial verdicts that reflect the author's personal research stance. It exists to help readers understand the literature — not to substitute for a clinical evaluation.
2. Not medical advice
Information on this site is provided "as is" and "as available," for informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, medication, supplement, peptide, or any compound described here.
We discuss compounds across the full spectrum: over-the-counter supplements, prescription medications (e.g. modafinil, GLP-1 agonists), and research chemicals or peptides that are legal to discuss but may not be approved for human use in your jurisdiction. We do not prescribe, sell, or supply any of these.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on Nootpedia. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.
3. Age restriction
You must be at least 18 years old to use this site, create an account, post in discussions, vote in polls, submit edit suggestions, or save a profile. By accessing Nootpedia you represent and warrant that you have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If we have reason to believe a user is under 18, we'll close the account.
4. Legal status of compounds varies
Many compounds described here — peptides, anabolic-androgenic steroids, SARMs, prescription-only nootropics, scheduled substances — are subject to legal restrictions that vary by country, state, and intended use. Some are research-use only; some require a prescription; some are controlled substances. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws of your own jurisdiction. Mention of a compound on Nootpedia is never an endorsement of obtaining, possessing, or using it.
5. No clinician–patient relationship
Use of this site does not create a doctor–patient, clinician–patient, or any other professional relationship between you and the authors. Personalized recommendations produced by the site (the intake, the AI chat, the verdict tiers) are algorithmic suggestions based on the inputs you provide, not clinical determinations.
6. AI-generated content
Some pages and chat responses on Nootpedia are produced or augmented by large language models (via OpenRouter). AI output may be incorrect, out of date, or omit important context. Treat anything labelled "AI" as a starting point for further research, not as authoritative.
7. Community conduct
Nootpedia hosts community discussion threads, polls, and edit suggestions. When you post:
- Don't post anything illegal, defamatory, harassing, or hateful.
- Don't impersonate other people, doctors, or brands.
- Don't market, advertise, or sell anything — especially controlled substances or counterfeit Rx.
- Don't post personal medical info about anyone other than yourself.
- Don't spam, scrape, or otherwise abuse the site.
- Cite sources when you can. Anecdotes are fine — just frame them honestly.
We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or ban any account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — particularly anything that violates this section, threatens user safety, or creates legal risk for the site.
8. User-submitted content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Nootpedia a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, host, edit, and republish that content as part of the wiki. Don't submit anything you wouldn't want public. Submissions that contain personal medical details may be redacted before publication.
If you delete your account, your discussion posts are soft-deleted:
the body is replaced with [deleted] while the thread
structure stays intact so other people's replies still make sense.
Your profile, tried-history, saved stacks, edit suggestions, and poll
votes are hard-deleted. See the
Privacy Policy
for details.
9. No warranty — site is "as is"
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement. The authors do not warrant that the content will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nootpedia and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site — including damages for personal injury, illness, lost profits, or any decision you make based on content from the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is capped at $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater. Your sole remedy is to stop using the site.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Nootpedia, its operators, and their affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
- your use of the site or anything you do as a result of using it;
- any compound, peptide, supplement, or medication you take, source, or combine;
- content you post, including any third-party rights it allegedly infringes;
- your violation of these terms or any law.
In short: if you read something on Nootpedia and then injure yourself or someone else by acting on it, that's not on us.
12. Third-party services
Nootpedia integrates with services we don't control — Clerk for identity, Supabase for storage, Vercel for hosting and analytics, OpenRouter for AI inference. Their availability and terms are their own. Outbound links to external research, vendors, or other sites are provided for convenience; we don't endorse and aren't responsible for what's on the other side.
13. Termination
You can stop using the site at any time and delete your account from your profile page. We can suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, especially if you violate these terms. Sections 8 (license for posts that remain), 9, 10, 11, and 14 survive termination.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that isn't otherwise resolved goes to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that venue.
15. Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected by bumping the "Last updated" date at the top and resetting the first-visit acknowledgement gate so returning users see the updated disclaimer. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
16. Contact
